# Settings

> N3 gives you control over how you view data and analytics.

Platform settings are available via the left-hand menu.

## View Options

<ResponseField name="Show footprint costs" type="boolean">
  Show cost of a project based on the footprint construction cost.

  When `false`, the total construction cost will be displayed instead.

<ResponseField name="Show rebased costs" type="boolean">
  Show cost of a project rebased using time and location indexes.

  Indexes are displayed during benchmark reports.
</ResponseField>

<ResponseField name="Show per functional unit" type="boolean">
  Show cost of a project per functional unit.

  Example: A project cost of £10,000,000 of a block of 50 flats will display as `£200,000`.

  Note: Displaying using the total construction cost or footprint cost will depend on other settings.
